I’ve been a frequent visitor to Northern Ireland over the past 10 years. Usually, I’ve found myself in Co. Down and the Mourne mountains. I’ve only been to the Causeway coast on one occasion before, mainly due to the fact that the drive from West Cork to the amazingly beautiful Co. Antrim coast is quite long at around 520km each way!.
On this visit, the weather was wild, windy and cold which I guess is to be expected in early November. Undeterred, a good two full days of photography in the company of friends was enjoyed. Fortunately, even despite a good soaking from a rogue wave, I came away with a number of photographs from along the coast which I’m pleased with.
To top off a rewarding couple of days, I was very fortunate enough to attend a 2 hour talk and presentation by a favourite Scottish photographer of mine, Bruce Percy. Thanks to the Bangor & North Down Camera Club who did a great job hosting the event. Check out his Bruce’s work, you won’t be disappointed.
